The MD Explorer is an American light twin utility helicopter which first took flight on 18th December 1992. The Explorer was the first MD helicopter to incorporate the NOTAR system from its initial design. NOTAR is the name of a helicopter anti-torque system which replaces the use of a tail rotor.
Made of high-quality polyester resin, this model is an exact (1:48) scale replica of Heliservices’ MD902 helicopter.
